Supermodel Gisele Bundchen revealed in British Vogue that she insists on a modesty clause in all her contracts and does not want to show too much of her butt.
"I make a point about that because I don't want my booty [to show]," she told British Vogue. "I can't wear like a nun outfit, or something like that, but I make sure that they understand that my booty has to be covered. It's my booty and I feel like when you're walking on the runway, God knows where they're looking. It's not that I feel self-conscious, it's that I feel like my booty should be shown on special occasions, for special people."

Kal Ruttenstein, Bloomingdale's senior vice president of fashion direction, and one of the most influential and loved fashion voices in the world died of complications of his bout with cancer. He held the position for three decades.
Designers he famously nurtured include Ralph Lauren, Donna Karan, Isaac Mizrahi, Zac Posen, Sean "Diddy" Combs and Marc Jacobs. His death, though not unexpected, was nevertheless still a shock.
In ailing heath for a number of years he had trouble moving around without assistance but that did not prevent from getting out to the shows and sharing his enthusiasm for what he thought was new and exciting.
Two weeks ago he sat beside Sean "Diddy" Combs at the launch of his new women’s wear collection decked from head to toe in Sean John.
Born Kalman Ruttenstein he will be missed by all that knew him . New York fashion will never be the same without his larger than life personality. |

Anger can sometimes be a blessed thing. It seems Kate Moss has finally had enough of Pete Doherty . She told the Daily Mirror:
"He's a user in every sense of the word. He makes me sick." She also said "Yes, I loved him, but I was taken in by his little boy lost routine. He has nearly cost me everything. Now he's out to exploit our time together. It's clear he doesn't care about me and has no respect for our relationship."
The back stabbing singer is said to be considering a book about their troubled romance apparently motivated by cash and vengeance . Kate had been silent about her relationship with the troublemaking rocker ever since she was forced to flee Britian after pictures appeared in the tabloids of her sharing a line of cocaine with Doherty. Last week it looked like the couple were heading towards a reconciliation until Doherty bolted from a drug rehabilitation center which seemed to be the last straw for Moss. She insists she never wants to have anything to do with the maipulative dead weight drug feind ever again. |

Tyra Banks appearance at the Victoria's Secret show in New York this week marks her last runway trot as a professional model. Banks, 32, currently is the star of two TV shows.
In an Associated Press interview she said.... “I'm not just retiring from the runway, I'm retiring from all modeling. God, I love saying that! When I was 18, my mom said I have to have a plan. I decided I'd leave on top. I want to be like the athletes who seem stuck in time. When you see them at 50, you say they probably can still run like a champ.” |

Anna Nicole Smith turned up so drunk and scantly clad to last summer's Philadelphia Live 8 concert that she is being accused of disrupting the event and causing damage to the reputation of the organizers.
The chest heavy gold digger and former Playmate was to appear to promote Trimspa, the diet supplement for which she is a spokesperson. Her appearance was to be integrated into the live broadcast. Trimspa agreed to pay $320,000 for the embedded spots.
However the event organizers claimed they had to cut Smith out of the live broadcast for behavior and clothes that did not fit the show's image. Trimspa has not paid its bills and is now being sued for $500,000. Lawyers for Smith, who is not named in the lawsuit, denied all allegations and said that their little angel was not tipsy and had brought a second more modest outfit but organizers said the one she was wearing was just fine. |

A research team at Oxford University has isolated what is being called a "thinness" gene passed from mothers to their children.
Fathers no matter how fat have little impact on weight if the maternal gene is present.
People with a certain genetic makeup may have a faster metabolism than average that allows them to get rid of fat rather than storing it. It is estimated that around 8% of the world's population carry the gene. |

A bottled drink called Borba which claims to be a facelift in a bottle and an alternative to Botox is being called a hoax.
The drink's creator Scott Vincent Borba reports it can reduce lines and wrinkles by 30% and because it is meant to be drunk instead of applied it has the advantage of delivering a full body effect in about 30 days.
However experts are skeptical and the product has not been tested in double blind experiments. The drink sells for about $2.50 at cosmetic counters. |
