It appears Reese Witherspoon was duped by Chanel. The Golden Globe winner got an even bigger surprise than winning the Best Actress Award for her role in Man in Black when she walked up to the podium to collect her statue.

It turned out that someone recognized what she thought was a vintage Chanel dress was in fact a recycled gown originally worn by Kirsten Dunst to a Globes after-party back in 2003.

The French fashion house has some explaining to do to Witherspoon's people. Rep Nancy Ryder was so furious when she found out about the mix-up that she swore none of her clients including Jennifer Lopez and Renée Zellweger will ever wear Chanel again.

Sean "Diddy" Combs ' ads for his new fragrance “Unforgivable” were pulled from many department stores for being too sexually explicit. The original ad shows Combs lying in bed with a white and an Asian woman looking as if they just all had sex together.

The ads have since been replaced by a tamer version in which Combs appears with only one woman. John Dempsey , global president of Estée Lauder, said, "It is unfortunate that some people were so uncomfortable with something with that much sexual presence, but we stand by it."

So far St. John has remained mum about Angelina Jolie becoming a mom. Jolie's announcement that she was pregnant with Brad Pitt's lovechild has thrown a wrench into the works of her contract with the California based sportswear company.

The first print ads showing Jolie in an evening dress, reclining in bed and reading were about to be released. Apparently Jolie's unexpected maternity bump was a complete surprise to the company. The 30-year-old actress is thought to have received $12 million, a stake in the company, a seat on its board and additional funds to set up a children's charity as payment to become a celebrity model for St. John.

Has Kate Moss really recovered? She still seems to be chasing trouble. PageSix reports that Moss was spotted hanging out at Giorgio's in Malibu at 2a.m. with a bunch of "hard-living, dirty punk rocker types with tattoos and piercings who looked like her ex Pete Doherty".

Across the pond in London Doherty was arrested and charged with drug possession after he was stopped by the police for speeding. When informed they were going to search his vehicle for illegal drugs Doherty decided to cooperate and told them that they would find what they were looking for. He later pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine and heroin .

Men of the cloth need not apply. There will be no judgment day for a Lutheran Vicar who was forced by The Church of Norway to resign as a panelist for the country's Miss Universe contest.

The religious hierarchy deemed that Einar Gelius should not be evaluating sundry attributes of bikini-clad women. The Priest argued what he did on his own time was between him and God and therefore his own business. The Church thought differently.

It maintained that as a clergyman he is always representing the Church and should not be seen to be judging other human beings especially in such a frivolous manner.

Tom Ford's cheek to cheek eyewear ad is raising questions about the boundaries of good taste.

The ad depicts a man lying down wearing a pair of sunglasses with a woman's derriere hovering inches above his face.

Ford explains the ad by saying "It's fashion's job to push the envelope," Ford watchers have observed that the former Gucci designer's tastes have shown a tendency to gravitate more and more towards the pornographic.
