Lancôme has finally made it up to actress Isabella Rossellini for unceremoniously firing her as the face of the Paris based cosmetics company.
Rossellini lost her job as a spokesmodel for Lancôme after 14 years when she turned 40 and was considered to be too old. Now Rossellini 54, is prepared to forgive and forget when she learned that her daughter Elettra Rossellini Wiedemann has been offered the same role. Wiedemann, began modeling three years ago at the age of 15 and shares her mothers amazing ageless skin. The campaign will start in January 2007.
Just one week after patching up her differences with Nicole Ritchie after a long personal feud, Paris Hilton has extended an olive branch to another longtime nemesis.
Hilton seems to have kissed and made up with her onetime archrival Lindsay Lohan and the two were seen hanging out together at several Las Vegas hotspots. The duo supposedly fell out in October 2005 when Paris started dating Stavros Niarchos. Hilton was quoted as saying ... "Lindsay and I were sitting around in LA with no plans and no dates so we decided to just come to Vegas and party."

When Police eyewear announced that they were not renewing David Beckhman's multi-million dollar contract to promote the brand, some marketing insiders were quick to predict that it is the beginning of the end for the soccer star's days as a style icon.
The downgraded Beckhman is also expected to loose a lucrative deal as the exclusive face of Gillette next year. At 31, Beckham may have reached the tipping point and is starting to loose some of his magic touch.
Brand specialists usually feel that when one major sponsor drops a big name celebrity endorser others will soon follow.

According to a family source supermodel Kate Moss is pregnant with Pete Doherty's child. The singer's uncle claimed Doherty called him with the news from Italy where he is on tour with his band Babyshambles.
Moss was spotted wondering around backstage off balance and spilling red wine everywhere. Her hands were so red with wine stains people thought she was bleeding. It is believed Moss and Doherty are planning to marry on the exotic Spanish Island of Ibiza sometime soon. Moss has a three year-old daughter from a previous marriage.

There is much talk about the steamy love scenes between Nicole Kidman and Robert Downey Jr. in the soon to be released Fur, a fictionalized biopic of the life of famed photographer Diane Arbus .
The segments are described as being so hot that everyone was asked to leave the set except for Director Steven Shainberg and a cameraperson. The film premiered at the Rome Film Festival.
Arbus was a one time fashion photographer who soon became infatuated by social outcasts. She began photographing people who were often described at the time as freaks such as transvestites, dwarves, giants and prostitutes. She committed suicide in 1971 at the age of 48 just as her work was starting to be recognized.

Peaches Geldof, the overly precocious 17 year old rock princess daughter of Sir Bob Geldof, has been asked to design her own jewelry line for Britain's Top Shop.
As a nod to her father's efforts for African aid, as the co-founder of Live-Aid, the jewelry range will be based on an African theme. "I've chosen to do this because it is ethical, fashionable and original." She was quoted as saying.
