Christina Aguilera commissioned Italian designer Roberto Cavalli to design the stage costumes for her upcoming Back to Basics tour. Cavalli is known for his dramatic and sexy styling. Her wardrobe will include a slinky white 40's inspired white tuxedo and a 50's style satin silk bustier with gold leaf. The tour kicks off in February.

Sienna Miller and her sister Savannah Miller announced plans to launch a sister act fashion line. Their first collection will include about 80 pieces and will be called Twenty8Twelve, which is number for Sienna's birthday.
The designs are credited to S Miller since the sisters conveniently share the first initial S and will split the design responsibilities equally. "I've always loved fashion”, Sienna explained. ....”Savannah got a first in design at Saint Martins. We hadn't thought to pursue it together, but this just happened organically “.

Sheryl Crow may have chosen the wrong hair color when she agreed to be feature in a national advertising campaign for Colorist, Revlon's new line of premium hair color products which is expected to launch in January 2007.
Revlon has been bleeding $100's of millions of dollars annually and has had numerous retail doors slammed shut in its face in recent months. The brand even failed to cut it with low end retailers and got booted from Wal-Mart.
It's new product launches and attempts to revive the company have all been spectacular failures. Its stock only has value because Rvelon Chairman Ron Perelman keeps buying it back himself.

The 20 year-old movie star was spotted showing herself off in an Alcoholics Anonymous t-shirt around L.A. A few days after her prime time confession Lohan was back to her old self and appeared at a GQ party drinking a glass of champaign and partying with the best of them.

According to a survey of 3,090 people conducted by the National Retail Association, the average American person as of Sunday November 26, completed 35.6 of their holiday shopping.
One in 12 report that they have completed all their holiday spending.
Americans are expected to spend $457.4 billion over the holiday season. That up by 5% over last year. Electronics are expected to the runaway category this year.

Has Paris Hilton set an example and lifted the bar for good taste by deciding to pull out of an appearance at the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas?
The hotel heiress felt the scripted jokes she was expected to read off a teleprompter were too offensive to some of her peers. When organizers could not come up with a compromise she felt that she could not go through with a planned appearance.
Her spokesman, Elliot Mintz, later said in a statement. "Paris did not want to say anything that could appear hurtful or embarrassing about people she knows."
