According to Woman's Wear Daily celebrity fashion lines are not living up to expectations. A few years ago fashion designers felt threatened with extinction from movie and music stars who thought they were also fashion designers. After well publicized launches most fizzled with few sales.
What ever happened to JLO, Chick by Nicky Hilton and Jessica Simpson? One thing is clear however, the market isn't what it once was. Rob Smith, executive vice president and general merchandise manager for Macy's East, said “overall, celebrity fashion lines have slowed down at retail.” One notable exception is L.A.M.B by Gwen Stefani.

Plans have been finalized to produce an A&E documentary on the behind the scenes world of Vogue's celebrated Editor–in-Chief Anna Wintour. The concept behind the project is to follow Wintour as she prepares the annual fall coffee table size mega-advertising issue of the magazine.
The demanding Wintour was the inspiration behind the driven editor in the wildly successful film The Devil Wears Prada which grossed $124 million dollars since being released earlier this year.

According to Forbes Magazine Giselle Bunchen is the highest grossing supermodel in the world. She earned a cool $5 million dollars just for walking in the Victoria's Secret show last month.
In a separate endorsement deal with a Brazilian shoe company, the 26 year-old uber-model is expected to earn $6 million dollars for allowing her name to be used on sandals.
The Brazilian native just signed a multi-million dollar contract with Cacharel to represent a fragrance that will be launched next year.

Kate Moss can dish it out but she just can not seem to take it when it comes to advice about relationships. The supermodel, in a showdown that resembled an intervention, confronted her good friend Sadie Frost, 41, and her new boyfriend Alex Zane, 26, in a London Restaurant about the latter's intentions.
Moss was concerned about Zane's drug use and arrests. Apparently, after the staged moment of truth, Frost was able to see the folly of her ways and dumped Zane.
Moss however can not seem to ask the same questions of herself about Pete Doherty who was reported have been waiting outside in a car during the entire episode.

Stefano Gabbana feels that same sex parenting is unnatural. The Dolce & Gabbana designer expressed his wish to have a child but is uncomfortable with the notion of gay couples being parents.
"I am opposed to the idea of a child growing up with two gay parents. A child needs a mother and a father. I could not imagine my childhood without my mother. I also believe that it is cruel to take a baby away from its mother."
He recently revealed his offer to a female friend to act as a surrogate mother and help him conceive and raise a child.

Naomi Campbell is still up for a fight even though allegations have been dropped against her for assaulting her drug councilor due to a lack of evidence.
The supermodel felt robbed of her day in court,
“What's awful about it is it's dropped - none of it was concrete evidence to be held… I just feel like I am a target."

It was reported that loud mouth former supermodel Janice Dickinson was involved in a hit and run collision while driving her SUV after a photo shoot.
Although she was wearing her seatbelt she still hit her head on the windshield suffering a slight concussion and was hospitalized overnight. There was no word if the star of TV's Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency, was any smarter after a knock on the head.
