In preparation for its 80th anniversary Salvatore Ferragamo launched a new museum and a concept store dedicated to numbered reproductions of archival shoes and handbags.
They are intended as true collector items and are precise replicas made exactly as the originals. One reproduction is of silk platform sandals worn by Ava Gardiner and another is a
5 inch heel worn by Marilyn Monroe in Some Like It Hot. They range in price from $1,500 – $5,000 dollars.

Rumors, rumors and more rumors. Speculation that Kate Moss would finally marry Pete Doherty in January 2007 have appeared in almost all the British newspapers and tabloids.
The most persistent report is that they will marry on the Spanish Island of Ibiza. Friends and family have been alerted and told to book flights. Some put the date at January 6th, while others have put their money on the 18th.
Milan
A Milan initiative to ban unhealthy models from the runway intends to reach out to other fashion organizers to implement a global strategy in the New Year.
Mario Boselli, head of the Italian National Chamber of Fashion, announced he will meet with other industry leaders in Paris on January 24th to "make it a worldwide document" and to establish international standards to protect young models.

Many people are wondering what a recent public kissing session between actor Josh Hartnett and Gisele Bundchen was all about.
Hot lips Hartnett is former boyfriend of Scarlett Johansson and was seen just a few days before with Johansson making out in public at another eatery prompting rumors that the couple were getting back together. Representatives for all concerned have refused to comment on the situation.

Three hundred workers of a Burberryplant in Wales are hoping for a miracle or at least some worldly divine intervention.
The factory is scheduled to close and relocate to a country where a production is cheaper. However, the Church of England which owns about $5 million dollars worth of shares in the 150 year-old company has decided to challenge the move.
Prince Charles and other celebrities have already condemned the proposed closure.
