The man often thought of as John Galliano’s spiritual twin and closest associate died of an apparent heart attack alone in his Paris apartment at the age of 38.
Steven Robinson
worked with Galliano for over two decades when he started sewing buttons for the designer at the age of 17. Born in Britain he attended at the Epsom School of Art and Design.
He met Gallianio when he went to Paris with a friend for what was supposed to be a week. It was an adventure that lasted almost 20 years and saw him became head of Christian Dior and John Galliano’s studios.
Robinson shunned the spotlight and preferred to remain behind the scenes. Typically he could be found backstage at a Galliano show with straight pins in his mouth putting the final touches on a look.

"Working with him has been the greatest adventure and privilege of my professional career. No one can, or will, ever replace him," Galliano said. "Steven has been my rock, my dearest friend and not someone that was meant to ever leave me. He was my family.”

Few men seem to be fantasizing about having sex with Kate Moss.  For the first time in a decade Moss will not make FHM annual list of the top 100 sexiest women in the world. Last year she managed to rank only 87th.
FHM spokesman Dan Cooper was quoted as saying.
“She hasn't looked great as of late .... I think the average guy on the street prefers someone that's a little more womanly."
Although the final vote has not been tallied glamour model Keeley Hazell is expected to top the list.

Karl Lagerfeld is still very much obsessed with skinny silhouettes and monotones. When he unveiled his new K collection it was typically the same 60’s mix that the Chanel designer has been preoccupied with for the last several seasons.
The collection features both men and women pieces and includes slim ties, leather trousers, graphic-printed jersey dresses and hipster jeans.

India’s Ministry of Information & Broadcasting decided to closedown the FashionTV Channel for 2 months for tempting its citizens with too much licentiousness and flesh. It cited the satellite broadcaster for ...
“showing programs that are against good taste and decency, degregate women and are likely to adversely affect public morality".
This was its 2nd ban. In 2002 the channel was yanked and forced to stop transmitting for one week.
Two years ago India was scandalized by an epidemic of wardrobe malfunctions exposing female nudity that plagued Lakme Fashion Week. The footage was aired shamelessly on Indian TV over and over again. The following year police were stationed backstage to avoid any reoccurrence of the gratuitous nakedness.

The Christian Louboutin boots Naomi Campbell wore to work for only one day on route to New York City's Sanitation Department as part of her weeklong community service sentence instantly received 1,200 orders.
The boots were not scheduled for production and only a few pairs existed. But company plans have turned on their heels as they announced that they would start making them immediately.
