Paris Hilton may have been on time but unfortunately she was in the wrong place.

The hotel heiress appeared in the Baselworld jewellery fair in Basel Switzerland to promote her new line of watches but she surprised the crowd when she said she was delighted to be in Zurich which is about a hundred miles away.

A Canadian Broadcasting Regulatory body decided to ban a recent Chanel TV ad. The Telecaster Services of the Television Bureau of Canada concluded that a commercial for Rouge Allure, a lipstick featuring Swiss model Julie Ordon, in a takeoff of 1963 film Le Mépris (Contempt) starring Brigit Bardeau and directed by Jean-Luc Godard was too much for Canadian audiences.
The TV Bureau suggested that certain body parts could be blurred or pixelated. Rather than modify the spot to appease the censors Chanel choose to cancel the campaign.
