  Kate Moss for Topshop

In a promotional stunt to promote her Topshop collection supermodel Kate Moss will appear as a live window installation at the chain’s flagship London store.

On May 1st when the shop opens at 7am a red curtain will be pulled back to reveal Moss dressed in clothes from her range and surrounded by mannequins.

Fashion fans began to line up days in advance.  "Kate plans to pose as a mannequin. Her biggest problem will be not laughing."

For the most part the Moss collection has been panned by fashion critics who are appalled by its lack of originality many commenting that she basically just knocked off whatever she found in her closet.

A Canadian Broadcasting Regulatory body decided to ban a recent Chanel TV ad. The Telecaster Services of the Television Bureau of Canada concluded that a commercial for Rouge Allure, a lipstick featuring Swiss model Julie Ordon, in a takeoff of 1963 film Le Mépris (Contempt) starring Brigit Bardeau and directed by Jean-Luc Godard was too much for Canadian audiences.
The TV Bureau suggested that certain body parts could be blurred or pixelated. Rather than modify the spot to appease the censors Chanel choose to cancel the campaign.
