  Marc Jacobs Fall/Winter 2007

Marc Jacob’s return from rehab may be off to a shaky start. The designer who was recently spotted partying with ex-boytoy and former escort Jason Preston postponed plans to stage his first formal men's collection show during Milan Fashion Week. Instead, the collection will be seen by appointment.

A spokesman for Jacobs said they were unable to find an appropriate venue and the decision was unrelated to his recent drug problems. However, other sources continue to speculate that the 44 year-old has not been able to focus on his work.

Despite being panned by the critics as uninspired and unoriginal sales for Kate Moss’s collection for Topshop have greatly exceeded all projections for its first week in Britain. They are reported to be around $6 million.

That number is double of what was expected. The 33-year-old supermodel was paid $6 million to create the line. The publicity she managed to generate was more than worth the fee.
