Von Dutch to Participate in Charity Showcase

New York - 12 emerging American, Asian, and European fashion designers are being given the opportunity to showcase their latest Fall collections at the Charity Network's CN Rocks NYC inaugural event being held at Avalon, New York, on July 8, 2004 . The event will support and raise awareness for small size kid charities in the New York area that struggle to survive and grow because they lack fundraising, infrastructure and visibility. Designers showing include; Gharani Strok, Kimberly Manne, Linda Loudermilk, Anna Fuchs, Mel en Stel, Parish, Romaine, Sampeline, Sarah Blumenthal, Shakti, Sumie Tachibana, Sam Rhone and Von Dutch .

CN Rocks NYC is not just your ordinary fashionista parade, it will be the platform for emerging yet extremely talented designers to showcase their work and get the recognition that they so deserve.”

The CN Rocks NYC parade and concert has been designed around the ‘Rock'n' Roll' theme of the evening with a performance by emerging music talent The Harlequins from Australia .

CN intends to make CN Rocks NYC  an important annual event for Charity in New York City . Throughout the coming year CN 's fashion and music committees will review hundreds of musical acts and the fashions of hundreds of emerging designers to identify those to showcase at its Best of New York Fashion, Music and Charity.

General admission tickets are $75, but can be purchased in advance online at www.cnnyc.org for $50 beginning June 24 th . Price is all-inclusive. Open bar 8 – 11 pm. VIP passes are available for $150 and include mezzanine access, compilation CD, goody bag and post-party.
