After a two seasons away, designer Kate O'Connor plans to show her Spring 05 collection. Known for creating the new trend in poncho chic, O'Connor will expand her collection introducing more silhouettes.

O'Connor first debuted at Gen Art: Fresh Faces in Fashion 2002 . Then the buzz was on with celebrities such as Drew Barrymore, Giselle Bundchen, Naomi Watts, Cameron Diaz, Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, Kate Hudson, Holly Hunter, Paris Hilton, Kate Bosworth, Eve, Christy Turlington, Eliza Dushku, and Amber Valetta to name a few. O'Connor ponchos, sweaters and scarves have showed up in fashion editorials and on the streets in fashionable areas.

O'Connor's runway solo debut came with the showing of Fall 04 during which the designer introduced new ideas in layered looks, minidresses, jumpsuits and sweaters in muted color combinations of soft, sumptuous yarns made from alpaca and merino wool.

Keeping availability to an exclusive 60+ high end boutiques, Kate has kept her business expanding at a steady, manageable rate, preferring to maintain minimum quotas to her boutiques.
